Alhamdulilah, di tahun baru ane I am almost at the end of my 6-months pregnancy. My body is "expanding horizontally", while my weight is getting heavier each week~ I have no comment whatsoever about my body weight at the moment. I know I'm pregnant and all....tapi body weight atu macam terlajak naik!!! Entah normal atau inda, doctors or nurses inda pernah say anything about it jua. So I'm guessing normal tah kali bodyweight ku ane....🤣
Last December aku nada kesempatan untuk bercuti kemana-mana, except ke Miri, Sarawak. My husband and I managed to buy a number of baby stuff in Miri. Memandangkan kami tinggal bermalam di sana, kami menyempatkan diri mengaga Dr. Teo's clinic and do a 4D ultrasound scan there. I did a post pasal harga service membuat ultrasound scan in private clinics di Brunei here. Harga service untuk buat 4D ultrasound scan di Miri is actually almost sama dengan harga di Dr. Ding's clinic Brunei, ganya nilai di Miri is in RM.

A few days before kami bertolak ke Miri, I did some research online and texted Dr. Teo's clinic untuk bertanyakan cost consultation and ultrasound di sana. Here is the price list untuk membuat ultrasound (however, you still need to check again if the price is still the same):
- Tranvaginal Scan RM250
- 4D Scan RM 250
- Normal Scan RM80 - RM100 (*a Transvaginal/ 4D scan will proceed if normal scan is not clear)
We arrived at the clinic around 7.30am, atu pun sudah ada beberapa orang patient menunggu di luar clinic. Apparently Clinic ane ada 2 tingkat, di ground floor untuk outpatient sementara di tingkat atas adalah maternity ward. Untuk registration clinic bagi non-local hanya perlu membawa passport sahaja.
The clinic opened at 8.00am and I was the third person to get registered. Doctor nya arrived dalam setengah jam kemudian. I was attended by Dr. Eunice. I would recommend Dr. Eunice to anyone atas sebab - sebab berikut: 1) she's really nice and very warm when meeting the patient, 2) she's a female doctor (to those yang concern pasal aurat and/or atas lain-lain sebab), and 3) She's very gentle and did a thorough ultrasound (based on personal experience, some doctors ada yang buat ultrasound laju-laju and menekan bahagian abdomen thus making the experience not so enjoyable hmph).
The best thing about this ultrasound experience was monitor nya ada 3 - for the doctor, for the patient and for the visitor to view. Inda perlulah aku terluan curious apa yang doctor scan when she did the ultrasound as well as she can immediately explained to me about the baby's development and features.
Resultnya: Baby ane andang suka bersecret kali. Last time Baby Lauren didn't show us its gender when we did an ultrasound scan at Dr. Yong's clinic. This time masa kami buat 4D ultrasound, the baby hides itself di belakang placenta despite Dr. Eunice asked me to move around a few times. So we can't exactly see the face kecuali sebahagian sahaja. Walaubagaimanapun I am still bersyukur jua as we are able to learn the baby's gender from this ultrasound. Regardless of gender jua, we are glad to know baby is healthy and well 😍
Sekiranya dalam masa terdekat ane ada ke Miri lagi and ada rezeki, In Sha Allah we would like to come back to Dr. Teo's clinic and do another consultation and scanning there.
